2007 Custom Classic "TRUX" RULES
Steps have been taken to slow "over competitive" stock vehicles to even competition.
More special rules may be added during the season and will be taken on a case by case basis.

Claim Rule:
The series promoter reserves the right to claim any car after an
event to insure there is no high dollar cars competing unfairly.
Any items such as racing seat, belts, window net, and fuel cell, may be
removed designated by the promoter.
Refusal of claim will result in loss of any and all points, position and
  purse money.
You may buy the car back after the season.

Special Scoring / Transponder Info:
You must cut approx 3"x3" hole (3 sided cut) in flat part of the
passenger compartment floor, bend up 90 degrees and use flap to
mount bracket (this will insure proper signal to track). Bracket will be
rivoted or screwed to flap with pin side on top. Bracket may be
purchased at track.
IMPORTANT: Bottom of transponder must be even w/ floor for best
  signal to track loop / FLAP should bend upwards toward either side
  of car.
 
Number Placement:
You must have your car numbers on driver's side door, passenger door,
and roof with a minimum size of 18" high in a contrasting color.
 
4 inch car numbers (plainly visible) are to be on the passenger side top
of the windshield and the driver's side of the trunk to help in line up
purposes.
 
These trucks will be COMPLETELY stock…no Hot Rods OR Race Cars
These will be compact trucks...no full size trucks.
There will be strict tech after each race for all trucks in "money positions"

ANTIFREEZE will only be permitted for Nov/Dec/Jan events.
  Subject to change at the discretion of series promoter in the event of a
    warm winter.
ALL trucks must be "stock" year, make, and model w/ no modifications.
  This includes all engine components, drive train, suspension, and
    cooling system.
  No moving, heating, cutting, or in any way altering suspension.
  Caster and camber changes are allowed within factory adjustments.
1" of shims allowed in front upper control arm MAX.
No 4wd or all wheel drive (2wd only)
Single stock for Y, M and M Carb or stock Fuel injection only.
Exhaust must exit behind driver/factory pipes/must have muffler.
All glass removed except windshield (No broken glass in truck).
Windshield wipers and squirters highly recommended.
No larger than 1x1" steel screen may be used to replace windshield if 3
    steel 1" straps are securely mounted from roof to vent panel centered
    no more than 8" apart.
All trim, handles, and moldings must be removed.
All interior upholstery must be removed except front seat.
Racing seat allowed/installation subject to inspection.
All cars must have driver side window net securely fastened with disconnect.
Dash must remain if no roll cage dash bar.
Must have suitable safety belts and shoulder straps.
  4 / 5 point harness recommended.
Center stock windshield mirror is allowed.
No outside mirrors or wide racing type.
Must have racing helmet with face shield or goggles
Fire suit/Flame proof jacket is mandatory - gloves are recommended.
Hood must have hole for fire safety if wheel wells are retained.
Truck must be clean of debris, broken glass, etc.
Doors / Tailgate must be welded, bolted, or chained shut.
Battery may be relocated in driver's compartment if covered and secured.
Must have some type of door bar welded inside or plate outside extending
    12" past door openings (NO SHARP EDGES).
Factory impact bar in driver's door OK if large enough and doors are welded.
No gutting of inner sheet metal except where roll cage extends into driver's
    door.
4 point cage is recommended. No bars to extend out forward of firewall.
Bars are allowed to rear of car to protect gas tank/fuel cell.
Rub rails allowed (No lower than center hub height/no higher than tires).
Rub rails must be tight against body, smooth and rounded off, subject to
    safety inspection (No tire cutters or spears).
All inner sheet metal must remain from front to back.
Front wheel wells may be removed.
Stock bumpers only - must be chained to keep from dropping onto track.
Stock fuel tank may remain in stock position if between frame rails or a fuel
    cell can be located in front of bed secured with at least (4) 1" steel straps.
    You must then use a rear cab class.
Stock wheels all same size and stock offsets. Max 7" wide.
Wheel weights must be removed.
Aftermarket steel wheels allowed if stock offsets are retained.
Must start race on all same size stock D.O.T. tires (ex. all 205/70R/15)
No camber shaved tires.
Summer tread, LT, all season / M+S combination tires allowed.
Tires damaged during a race may be changed to a different "diameter" size
    (205/70) but still must meet other rules (width, ratings) and damaged tire
    must be readily available for inspection if you place in the "money
    positions".
3/32" tread depth minimum to start race/no made for racing or above
    "H" speed rated tires.
Mascots and decorated trucks with the race theme is allowed and
    encouraged but must be secured to not fall off on track while racing.
Passengers allowed as long as they have the same protection as driver
    including bars, belts, and window net.

NOTE- Any and all rules are geared toward even competition in the spirit of Enduro racing. Anything not covered in the above rules may not be legal and should be asked of the NEETS tech man before the race. Do not assume anything is legal and then find out differently in the tech area. We are here to have fun and do not want to see anyone be DQed.
