NEETS Set to Run at Wall StadiumStory by:Jeff Gravatt May 22, 2009 Ever mindful of the tough economic times being suffered through by most families, Wall Stadium promoter Jim Morton has announced his first "$5 Family Fun Night" at the third mile paved oval scheduled for this Saturday night (May 30) at 7:00 p.m. Morton says that all adults and all teens from age 13 and up will be admitted to the grandstands for just $5. Children age 12 and under will be free of charge. The unpredictable and thrilling racing action of the North East Enduro Tour Series (N.E.E.T.S.) will take to the high banks for the first time this season as the focal point of the evening. The action will feature the N.E.E.T.S. Big Car Division, featuring 8 and 6 cylinder engines, and the Small Car division, showcasing 4 cylinder power. Both divisions will race in their own 100 lap main event. In addition, the N.E.E.T.S. Trux Division will also see action in a scheduled 50-lap contest. In addition, the popular INEX Legend Cars will be on the agenda with a full slate of qualifying events and a 20-lap feature race. Both INEX and Wall Stadium championship points will be awarded to the Legend Cars. "Enduro racing can be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to seeing it at Wall," promoter Jim Morton said. "I think that this is a great way to go racing in a tough economy. With the Legend Cars also on the schedule, we will be able to present exciting racing at a very affordable price for the fans here at Wall this Saturday." With racing starting at 7:00 p.m., spectator grandstand seating and on-track practice will open at 5:00 p.m. Wall Stadium is located on Route 34 inWall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B.
