The Official Homes of
NEETS in 2012!
Bott, Birdsall and Rummel earn NEETS Beaters with Heaters victories at Wall Stadium Speedway!Gary Lileck January 14, 2012 Howie "Dr. Destruction" Bott nursed his ailing machine to a victory in Saturday's 150-lap Big Car Enduro at Wall Stadium Speedway. Dan Birdsall captured his first career NEETS Enduro triumph in the 150-lap Small Car affair while Linsey "The Rocket" Rummel cruised to her second career Wall Speedway win in the 25-lap Ladies Race. The "Santa's Sleigh 150" for the 6/8 Cylinder division featured 28-cars and rolled to a traditional three-wide start. Matt Guadango, from the second spot, cruised into the early race lead until he was overtaken by veteran enduro competitor Glen Osborne, who started from ninth. Osborne remained in control and lapped the field until the event's first red flag period on lap 51. Chris Burns made hard front-end impact with the guardrail just below the scoreboard in turn two. The "Jingle Bell 150" for the 4 Cylinders found Scott Dunn blasting into the race lead from his outside front row starting spot. Birdsall dropped to the inside of Dunn in turn two of the fifth circuit to become the new pace setter. A few laps later while racing through traffic, Birdsall and Dunn split a lapped machine in turn two. Full Story - Joe Cutri, Promoter - |
