Big and Small Car TOP TEN RACES
~ Two 10 Lap Dash-4-Cash Races ~
It's Time For The MUTHA of All Enduros!
This will be the 8th and FINAL POINTS RACE of the 2009 NEETS Racing season at Grandview Speedway! This event will feature both regular divisions, Big and Small Cars, racing 150 laps each in a double points/double purse style races. Cars from anywhere can join in the fun but must meet NEETS rules and, as always, you are encouraged to decorate your car with a family-friendly theme!!!
Top Ten Races
Each division will be given a Top Ten in points Dash-4-Cash style race, conditions permitting!
The top ten in points from each division after the Junk-a-Thon Enduro on October 18th will be invited to participate in a $25 to enter, winner take all, 10 lap shoot-out. Potentially $250 to win if all top ten drivers participate! 2-wide line-up will be reverse points...so, 10th place is on pole!
Conditions permitting: amount of sunlight remaining after the two main races are complete.
No pre-registration required!
This is the race for the championship!!! So remember...
This is the FINAL race, so officials will be strictly enforcing rough riding during the races...anything deliberate will cost you laps!!! Whether we decide to send you in the pits for a cool down lap or we mark you down a lap if you do not respond, penalties will be enforced to the fullest for this race!
You may be racing just to have fun, or you may be taking this a bit more serious and be racing for the championship... Either way is fine, just remember that if you are just out to have some fun, there are some drivers who are racing for points. We would like to see everyone walk away from each race with a smile, car in tact (well, at least in tact enough to race again) and UNINJURED!
Awards and Payouts
Custom NEETS trophies will be awarded
to the top 5 in each division
NEETS Trophies are one of a kind trophies!
Official NEETS Trophy Supplier:

Purse will be paid to the top XX drivers...depends on car counts.
See 2009 Purse Page for more info on payouts.
For official MUTHA payouts...multiply the normal amount paid by 2!
Pre-Race Tech
ALL CARS will run through a rudimentary technical inspection PRIOR to racing.
At first arrival at the speedway on the day of the event, after you have registered for the event, you will bring your car to the designated "Tech Area". Your car will be checked for legality...IF your car does not meet NEETS rules, the Tech Inspector has the right to either allow you to race for "NO POINTS-NO PURSE" or deny you the ability to participate in the event altogether. The only way you will be denied the chance to race is if your car does not meet safety standards...
Any car will be allowed to race regardless of legality, but an illegal car will receive no payout for a money position, no trophy and no points awarded to the driver...this is based on your ability to play by the rules.
The only change being made here is that EVERYONE will be tech inspected versus just the top five paying positions...illegal cars will be caught before the race and the driver will be given the chance to make the car legal if possible, giving the driver a fighting chance before the race instead of losing all points and purse after the race... This change in procedure will help anyone who is racing and being honest...an illegal car can wrap up each race in 6th/7th position and bring home a top (if not the championship) position at the end of the season based on consistency alone.
At the end of the race, a post-race tech will still be performed and if our tech official believes an illegal part may have slipped through or have been hidden or not replaced if mentioned prior to race, you can still be DQ'd.
Rules of the Race
For a complete list of NEETS Rules and Regulations please see the "RuleBook".
This is the FINAL race under the 2009 Rulebooks, therefore, we are expecting each and every driver to not only know all the rules, but to expect the rules to be enforced. There will be no leniency...if something is questionable, the car will be disqualified.
Decorations
If you decide to decorate your car for the event, please make sure any and all decorations are fastened securely to the vehicle! It is imperative that no sharp or protruding objects are on the sides of your car...no tire cutters!
Event Procedures
Please read over and familiarize yourself with the Rules and Regulations before the event. NEETS hosts a variety of special events which can range from male-female tag-team races to holiday themed events. Keep up to speed by reading and participating on our forum.
The MUTHA will feature a different format between races!!!
After the first race is complete, the TOP 7 cars will be asked to report to the "INFIELD" tech area immediately. Any car that returns to the pits will be instantly DQ'd. There will be no victory lane celebrations between races. The infield crews will clear the track in a timely fashion and the second race will commence immediately.
IF you are racing in the second race, begin to prepare for the race immediately following the drop of the checkered flag of the first race. Officials will call for line-up ONCE, if you miss your group's call to stage and are not in order, you will fall to the rear of the row which you were originally lined-up. Cars reporting to the staging area early will be waved back into the pits and may lose position. Report to the staging area when you are called to stage only.
After the racing is complete for the day, the infield/pits will be open to fans and crew members for celebrations. Once the final race is complete, the technical inspections will begin ASAP. Tech rules will be strictly enforced, there will be no warnings to people who do not belong in the tech area. Officials will DQ any driver who does not belong in the tech area. Once the technical inspections are complete, the winners of the races will be given the chance to participate in driver interviews and celebrate with fans and crew.
Payouts and trophies will be disbursed at the pit office once all cars have been inspected, verified for legality by the tech officials and all transponders are returned.
This will be the most fun you have ever had in the front seat of a car!!!
Please bring your Enduro spirit and leave any attitudes at home.
You'll have a blast.... build a car and race!!!
